Seasonal Dried Wreath

from £65.00

Each dried wreath is handcrafted in East Lothian, inspired by the natural palettes and textures of the surrounding landscape. I select and preserve flowers, grasses, seed heads, and foliage at peak beauty to create lasting arrangements that age gracefully while retaining structure, color, and tactile interest.

Materials and Composition

  • Seasonal botanicals: A rotating selection that may include hydrangea, statice, helichrysum (strawflower), globe amaranth, lavender, bunny tails (lagurus), oat stems, millet, phalaris, nigella (love-in-a-mist) seed heads, poppy heads, and dried roses.

  • Foliage and texture: Preserved eucalyptus, olive, dried ferns, ruscus, heather, and bleached branches to add shape and contrast.

  • Supporting base: Natural grapevine or willow wreath forms in various diameters. For a lighter, airier look I use thinner willow; for a bolder, structured silhouette I use a tight grapevine base.

  • Fixing method: Stems are wired and secured with low-profile binding twine or wire so that attachments are discreet yet durable. Finishing elements are glued where necessary for extra security.

  • Natural finishing: No synthetic sprays or glossy coatings—colors are preserved using traditional drying and gentle preservation techniques to maintain a natural, matte
